DASIĘ – Turning Bureaucratic Complexity into Calculators People Actually Want to Use

PFRON regulations are notoriously hard to understand — and that was exactly the barrier DASIĘ needed to remove.

Many entrepreneurs couldn't figure out how to calculate their PFRON contributions or estimate potential co-funding. Complex tables and legal formulas created a real entry barrier, risking that users would simply give up before even considering the services. The brand also faced a trust challenge — it needed to be perceived as a professional yet approachable business partner, not another bureaucratic wall.

Two distinct audiences complicated things further:

• HR & finance departments in larger companies — need precision, compliance details, and clear cost projections
• SME owners and self-employed — need simple tools and plain-language answers, fast

I designed the full DASIĘ website around one principle: get the user from confusion to clarity in the fewest steps possible.

Clear service presentation — clean layout, readable service sections, consistent visual identity that communicates expertise without intimidation.

Two online calculators as the centrepiece:

• PFRON Contribution Calculator — simple module showing current costs and potential savings, designed so business owners can see their numbers at a glance
• PFRON Co-funding Calculator — estimates available support for employers hiring people with disabilities, structured as a step-by-step guided form

Both calculators use intuitive, step-by-step form patterns — no legal jargon, no overwhelming tables. Each step explains what's being asked and why.

Mobile-first design — the entire site and both calculators are optimized for mobile devices, because business decisions don't wait for a desk.

Visual communication — graphics and visual elements support the expert messaging but stay warm and approachable in tone. Professional, but human.
