The Problem

Denckermann is an international automotive parts supplier offering thousands of products across multiple lines — from filters and brakes to suspension and safety systems. The scale of the catalogue was the core challenge.

  • Massive product range — thousands of references demanded logical categorisation and a layout that doesn't overwhelm
  • Multiple user groups with different needs — automotive workshops need technical specs fast; distributors need bulk ordering clarity; individual drivers need simple part identification
  • Inconsistent brand communication — existing materials didn't convey the brand's global reach and professionalism
  • Quality story untold — the testing standards, certifications, and innovative technologies behind Denckermann parts weren't visible enough to build trust

The Solution

I designed the UX/UI for the new Denckermann website with one goal: make thousands of parts feel findable.

Catalogue UX wireframes with clear information architecture — category navigation (filters, brakes, suspension, ignition system, accessories, etc.) that lets users move between product lines without getting lost in the depth of the range.

Professional, globally-minded UI design — modern layout for denckermann.pl that supports the brand's international positioning rather than undermining it.

Product category and detail pages — product cards with key specifications and clean photography, giving users the information they need at a glance without clicking deep into nested pages.

Storytelling sections — dedicated spaces for quality standards, testing procedures, and certifications that turn technical details into trust signals rather than burying them in footnotes.

Marketing graphics — illustrations and layouts supporting both online and offline communication, maintaining visual consistency across touchpoints.

Process & Validation

  • Figma — UX wireframes, prototypes, full UI system
  • Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop — custom graphics and visual materials
  • Discovery workshops — analysed the specific needs and browsing habits of each user group (workshops, distributors, drivers) alongside the catalogue's structure
  • Iterative refinement — multiple rounds adjusting category layout and content hierarchy based on how actual users navigate a large catalogue

Results

  • Modern denckermann.pl that effectively presents a broad automotive parts assortment without overwhelming the visitor
  • Clear product categorisation — users orient themselves quickly regardless of entry point or expertise level
  • Consistent visual identity — online presence that reinforces the brand's global scale and professionalism
  • Improved user experience across all audiences — from workshops and distributors to individual customers, each finds what they need faster
